One spot-on, three months of flea, tick, heartworm, roundworm and hookworm cover.
A topical combination spot-on for cats, built around two actives working together: fluralaner for fleas, ticks and ear mites, and moxidectin for heartworm prevention, roundworm and hookworm. Applied to the skin rather than given orally, one dose covers all of the above for three months.
Sold as three pack sizes, one per weight band from 112.5mg+5.6mg to 500mg+25mg, so the dose scales with the cat. It does not cover tapeworm.
Active ingredients (fluralaner + moxidectin, dose scales with pack size/weight band): 112.5mg + 5.6mg (1.2-2.8kg), 250mg + 12.5mg (2.8-6.25kg), 500mg + 25mg (6.25-12.5kg).
This one covers more ground than a straightforward flea-and-tick spot-on — heartworm prevention in particular depends on keeping to the 3-month schedule rather than dosing "whenever it's due," since a missed window leaves a real gap in cover, not just a slower flea kill. If the cat has any chance of existing heartworm exposure (travel, a missed dose last year, an outdoor/high-risk lifestyle), that's worth a vet check before starting rather than after. Since this product doesn't cover tapeworm, a cat that hunts or has fleas (fleas transmit tapeworm) may still need a separate tapeworm dose alongside the regular 3-month application — it's compatible with concurrent praziquantel dosing. Apply to dry skin, keep multi-cat households separated for a few hours afterwards so they can't groom it off each other, and avoid bathing or swimming the cat more than occasionally since that hasn't been tested.
