Sterilising drops a cat's energy requirement by roughly a third and doesn't touch her appetite — which is why so many cats put on weight in the year afterwards without their owner changing a thing. This food closes that gap.
Fat sits at 10.2%, about half the standard adult dry food, while protein holds at 33.2% so the weight she loses is fat rather than muscle. L-carnitine helps her metabolise what she does eat. Controlled minerals look after kidney and bladder — sterilised cats are more prone to urinary trouble, and it's worth heading off. Antioxidants including vitamins C and E support immunity, and omega-6 with vitamin E keeps skin and coat in good order. For sterilised cats aged one to six.

Looking after it
Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Measure the portion rather than free-feeding — this is the single biggest factor in whether a sterilised cat stays lean. Keep water available in more than one place; dry food carries almost none, and sterilised cats need the intake. Fresh water, always.
