Lamb with gentle grains, in a small-dog kibble.
Small breeds are over-represented among dogs with sensitive digestion, and a change of protein is usually the first thing worth trying.
Lamb meal sits alongside a deliberately gentle carbohydrate blend here — brown rice, brewer's rice, barley and oats — chosen for digestibility rather than cost. Protein comes in a little lower than the chicken version at 22.3%, with fat at 14.2%, which suits a dog whose system is easily upset. The same omega-6 and vitamin E support skin and coat, and dried tomato pomace, citrus pulp and spinach provide antioxidant support. Kibble is small-breed sized throughout. For small and mini breeds aged one to six.
Maize, brown rice, brewer's rice, wheat, maize gluten meal, lamb meal, barley, oats, soybean meal, animal fat, digest, vegetable oil, flaxseed, dried tomato pomace, dried citrus pulp, and spinach powder.
Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. If you're switching to settle a sensitivity, take ten days over the change and then feed nothing else for six weeks — small dogs get more treats than anyone admits, and that's usually what spoils the test. Fresh water, always.
