Older dogs get fussier, and a food he'll finish beats a better food he won't touch. Lamb is the most reliable way to reset an appetite that's gone quiet.
Underneath the flavour it's the same mature-adult thinking: glucosamine and chondroitin from pork cartilage and crustacean shell for joints with seven years on them, easily digestible protein for a system that's grown less tolerant, and clinically proven antioxidants for ageing immunity. Lamb meal with brewers' rice and soybean meal gives a different protein profile from the chicken recipe, which also makes this the one to try if you suspect poultry has stopped agreeing with him. For medium breeds aged seven and over.

Looking after it
Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks. If he's gone off his food rather than simply preferring lamb, that's worth a vet conversation — appetite loss in a dog over seven is often the first sign of something else. Weigh him monthly. Fresh water, always.
