Looking after it

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Change over slowly — ten days — and expect stools to settle over two to three weeks rather than overnight. Kittens eat little and often: four meals a day under four months, then three. If diarrhoea persists beyond a few days, or there's blood in it, see a vet rather than changing food again. Fresh water, always.
