Homegrown catnip for the full zoomies-then-nap experience.
Dried catnip grown domestically in South Africa. Catnip's active compound, nepetalactone, triggers a temporary playful or euphoric response in roughly half to two-thirds of cats — it's hereditary, so some cats simply won't react, and kittens under about three months typically don't either. Sprinkle onto a scratching post or toy to renew its appeal once the novelty's worn off, or use it to encourage interest in a new bed or cat tree.
Dried catnip (Nepeta cataria) leaf and flower, medium grain.
Non-addictive — there's no harm in regular use, though most cats need a break of a few hours between reactions before catnip has much effect again. Store sealed and away from light to keep it potent for longer.
