A slow-cooked stew rather than a pâté — lamb with rice and country vegetables in gravy, cooked gently so it holds its texture.
The practical case is hydration and palatability. At 82% moisture it does real work on a dog who doesn't drink much, and it is the reliable answer for a dog who has gone off her food, is recovering from something, or simply needs persuading.
