Ostrich is a genuinely novel protein for almost every dog in South Africa. She hasn't eaten it, so she hasn't had the chance to develop a sensitivity to it — which is the whole point for a dog who reacts to chicken or beef.
Slow-cooked with rice, potato and carrots in gravy at 82% moisture, which also lifts water intake. Taurine at 125 mg/kg supports the heart. Feed on its own or alongside Karoo dry.

Looking after it
Refrigerate any opened tub and use within 24 hours. Serve at room temperature rather than fridge-cold — it smells of far more and gets refused far less. Wet food does no mechanical work on the teeth, so keep some dry alongside or give her something to chew.
