Tartar control built into the biscuit, which she needs badly.
Dental disease is the thing most likely to shorten a Chihuahua's otherwise very long life. Toy breeds have the same forty-two teeth as a Labrador crowded into a jaw a fraction of the size, so plaque has nowhere to go and tartar builds fast.
Pentasodium triphosphate at 3.5 g/kg is the answer here, and it's the ingredient nobody mentions: it binds the calcium in her saliva so it can't crystallise onto the tooth. Combined with a kibble shaped to make her chew rather than swallow, that's real daily dental work. Glucosamine and chondroitin support a small frame prone to a dislocating kneecap, tea polyphenols carry the antioxidant load, and the aroma is built for a breed with a reputation for refusing dinner. For dogs from eight months.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Weigh her food; on a 2 kg dog a few extra biscuits is a real percentage of her day. Don't soak the kibble. Get her teeth checked yearly and brush them if she'll let you — this food helps a great deal but it isn't a toothbrush. Keep her off slippery floors and discourage jumping down from height.

A guide, not a rule. Two meals. Feed it dry and whole — soaking the kibble removes the dental effect entirely. Fresh water, always.
