Those ears hang over the bowl. The kibble is shaped around it.
A Cocker's ears are the breed's defining feature and its most persistent problem. They hang heavy, they cover the ear canal completely, and they trail through everything including the food bowl — which is why the kibble here is shaped so she can pick it up without burying her ears in it.
The coat is the other half. EPA and DHA at 0.4% with borage oil support the skin that long, silky feathering grows from, and Cockers are prone to seborrhoea and ear infections that both start at skin level. Protein at 32% is high for a medium-breed puppy, fat at 18% covers growth, and glucosamine and chondroitin support the joints. She moves onto Cocker Spaniel Adult at twelve or thirteen months.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Check inside her ears weekly from puppyhood and get her used to having them handled — a Cocker who won't let you near her ears is a Cocker with chronic infections. Dry them after swimming or bathing. A snood at mealtimes keeps the feathering out of the bowl. Keep her lean and limit jumping while she's growing.
