A Jack Russell puppy is a working terrier in a small package, and she has the energy budget to match — bred to go to ground after quarry, with an engine that doesn't idle. Feeding her like an ornamental small breed under-serves her.
Protein runs at 32%, the highest of any small-breed puppy food here, to build the dense lean muscle the breed carries. Fat at 18% fuels it without tipping into weight. Calcium at 1.2% and phosphorus at 1% support a compact, sturdy skeleton, and betaglucans with prebiotics cover the immune and digestive side while her own defences establish. She moves onto Jack Russell Adult at eleven months.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Terriers need work more than they need walks — scent games, digging boxes and training tire a Jack Russell in a way a lap of the block does not, and an under-stimulated one will find her own entertainment. Keep her lean; the breed is prone to luxating patella. Recall training from day one, because the prey drive is not something you argue with later.
