A Poodle puppy's coat is not the coat she'll have. The soft puppy fluff is replaced somewhere between nine and eighteen months by the dense curly adult coat that barely sheds — and that changeover is a genuinely awkward period where everything mats at once.
Feeding for the adult coat starts well before it appears. Omega-3 at 0.88% with EPA and DHA at 0.35% and borage oil support the skin it grows from. Protein at 33% is the highest of any small-breed puppy food here, with fat at 19%, covering a breed that's active and intelligent and burns more than it looks like it should. Betaglucans and prebiotics handle immunity and digestion. She moves onto Poodle Adult at eleven months.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Get her used to being groomed and clipped from eight weeks — a Poodle needs professional grooming every six to eight weeks for life, and a dog who fights it is expensive and miserable. Brush right down to the skin during the coat change or she'll mat solid in a fortnight. Poodles are clever and get bored; train her properly and she'll be a delight.
