Kibble she can actually pick up, which is not a small thing.
Everything about feeding a Shih Tzu comes back to the face. She scoops rather than bites, she can't reach into a deep bowl comfortably, and the crowding in that short jaw means tartar builds faster than in almost any other breed.
So the kibble is shaped and sized for a brachycephalic bite, and pentasodium triphosphate at 3.5 g/kg binds salivary calcium before it hardens. Fat at 20% with EPA and DHA at 3 g/kg and borage oil supports a coat that grows continuously and shows neglect within weeks. Glucosamine and chondroitin are there for a long-backed, short-legged frame. For dogs from ten months.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks; the 7.5 kg won't stay fresh for a 5 kg dog. Wipe her face daily and keep the hair out of her eyes — either tied up or clipped short. Brush right down to the skin, not just over the top, or it mats underneath. Don't walk her in the heat of the day and never leave her in a car; flat-faced dogs cannot cool themselves properly.
